Aleksandra was diagnosed with rectal cancer in January 2022, and soon after were discovered metastases in the lymph nodes of the abdomen and pelvis, both lungs, liver and sigmoid colon.

She was diagnosed with: C20 Adenocarcinoma RECTI, C77.2 Neoplasma malignum lymphonodorum abdominalium metasticum; C77.5 Neoplasm malignant lymphonodorum pelvis metastatic; C78.0 Neoplasm malignant pulmonis metastatic; C78.7 Neoplasma malignum hepatis metastaticum and C18.7 Neoplasma malignum coli sigmoidis.

Treatment  started with chemotherapy for 20 cycles, after which progression was noted. In July 2023, she got  stoma  and local radiotherapy. In February 2024, progression was noted, so the next line of chemotherapy with another medicine was applied and the introduction of medicines that can only be received in a private clinic with the possibility of continuing treatment abroad were proposed.

Funds are needed for therapies and treatment costs in a private health institution, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, as well as for treatment abroad, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
