Lazar is 15 years old. He had a typical life as a teenager, until the fateful day - 30 June  2020, when a single fatal dive into a pool radically changed his life. 

Lazar survived, but suffered severe injuries to the 5th and 6th vertebrae, swelling of the spinal cord and contusion of the spine. He spent twenty days at the Clinical Center in Nis, then was transferred to the children's internal medicine clinic. After a difficult month, he started rehabilitation at the Dr. Miroslav Zotović clinic in Belgrade.

After eight months of hard work, facing the harsh reality, which was very difficult for a fifteen-year-old, Lazar managed to achieve certain results, but not enough for independence. He is completely dependent on someone else's help, starting with feeding, moving in a wheelchair, inability to perform physiological needs (catheterization is done for a couple of hours and it is very painful) and personal hygiene. Lazar is completely dependent on others in all daily activities.

He was discharged from the clinic in Belgrade with a diagnosis of quadriplegia, a fracture of the C5 and C6 vertebrae. Lazar needs an operation that would be done in Turkey and that would help him progress and become independent for living. He also needs funds for rehabilitation, additional diagnostics, check-ups, medicines, supplements, for travelling  and accommodation costs.

He also needs funds for surgery, rehabilitation, additional diagnostics, check-ups, medicines, supplements, exercise equipment at home, as well as travel expenses and accommodation.

Thanks to humane people, Lazar collected funds for the operations that were performed in Turkey. He operated on the spine and spinal vertebrae. The family would like to thank all the people who helped them. Due to the complexity of Lazar's health condition, the treatment is not over, therefore the action continues.

Parents ask all humane people to help as much as they can so that Lazar would go to the operation and recover as soon as possible.
