raises funds for Tamara Lukić (2016).

Tamara was born in 2016 in Belgrade. She was born with a deformity of the right leg and foot, which caused  a difference in the length of her legs, more than 10 cm. Immediately after birth, she was diagnosed with Dg. Q68.4 Curvatura tibiae et fibulae congenita (congenital deformity of lower leg, curvature of tibia and fibula).

In September 2019, she underwent surgery in America, where an Ilizarov apparatus  external fixator was applied to her, which partially corrected the length of the limb and corrected the curvature of the tibia with the formation of an articular fork. In May 2020, she underwent surgery again to have the device removed from her right lower leg.

Tamara was discharged home to recover. She wears an orthosis and an orthopedic shoe to raise  her right foot. Despite everything, she is a cheerful and smiling girl, who dreams of touching the ground with both feet, running and jumping with her peers, and wearing the shoes that other children wear.

To achieve this, it is necessary to go through several leg extension operations before the end of growth. As she grows, so does the difference. The operation would be performed at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in the USA.

Tamara needs funds for surgery, rehabilitation, physical therapy at home and abroad, medical devices and also for travelling and accommodation costs. Her parents financed the first operation and exhausted all the resources, thus they ask all humane people to help them, so that Tamara can be operated on as soon as possible.
