Ilija was born on 14 July 2016 in Belgrade. He was born after a properly maintained and controlled pregnancy. Due to complications at birth, Ilija swallowed some amniotic fluid.

His parents said that Ilija’s development went smoothly. Ilija was walking at the age of 17 months, during which time he began to speak his first words. When he was  two, everything stopped, he didn't use the learned words anymore. He expressed all his needs by pulling his parents by the hand to the desired goal.

Ilija's parents took him for a specialist examination due to the slow development of speech and difficulties in social interaction and communication. He was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder F84.

Ilija is a boy who does not make verbal contact, does not respond to his name or speak, and sometimes he screams. He does not make eye contact either. He loves children but does not know how to communicate with them.

Ilija  needs our help in order to have continuous speech therapy and special education treatments.

This way, his parents ask all humane people to help them so that Ilija can progress in his treatment.

He needs funds for treatments by a speech therapist and a special educator.
