raises funds for Helena Tiler (1957).

Helena was born in 1957. In March 2016, it was discovered that she suffered from GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumor) of high malignant potential, which is a  rare tumor.

The first operation was in the same year, the second in November 2020 and the third in July 2021. She has been treated with Imatinib since July 2017.

After the last operation and the control finding of the magnetic resonance,  the disease progressed. The PH finding showed metastases of GIST despite a double dose of Imtinib. Helena became resistant to it.

At the check-up, Helena was told that she needed to change her therapy. Doctor recommended that this medicine should be Sutent. It is a medicine used to treat GIST metastases after unsuccessful treatment with Imatinib.

Unfortunately, the medicine Sutent is not on the list of the Republic Fund of Health Insurance. The price of the medicine on a monthly basis exceeds Helena's and her family income.

Helena is a great fighter and since she was diagnosed, she has been bravely dealing with the disease. In November 2020, she got bilateral pneumonia with a diagnosis of Covid 19, a more severe form. She ended up on a respirator, but her will to live won. She was discharged from hospital and recovered. Now she needs to continue with the treatment as soon as possible.

She managed to raise funds for two boxes of medicine, but that is not enough. She needs us all to continue treatment.

The family asks all humane people to help her.

She needs funds to buy medicine so that she can continue her treatment.
