raises funds for Vukan Vasiljević (2016).

Vukan was born on 26 July  2016 in Belgrade. Due to premature birth, insufficiently developed lungs, lack of oxygen, cerebral hemorrhage, he was in an incubator and on a respirator from the first days of his life.

Oxygen deficiency left visible consequences for Vukan's brain in the form of damage to the white brain mass. In addition, after birth, Vukan had hemolytic anemia, which resulted in jaundice that lasted for several months.

He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

In addition, Vukan also had reflux (returning food after a meal), an allergy to a number of foods. He also had strabismus which was operated on.

He started walking at the age of two and a half, he spoke up at approximately the same time. His fine motor skills are impaired, but gross motor skill (walking) is the biggest problem. Increased tone prevented the proper development of motor skills.

With daily work and exercises, Vukan progressed. His walking and posture are better every day, but he needs more work to reach his maximum.

Vukan is a friendly and communicative boy. He expresses himself beautifully and clearly, remembers and recounts actions. He regularly attends speech therapy and special education treatments. He goes to hippotherapy and swimming regularly.

The parents want to try to improve Vukan's health by treating him with fetal stem cells at a clinic in Kiev. For that, they need our help.

He needs funds for stem cell treatments as well as for traveling and accommodation costs.
