raises funds for Filip Spasić (2003).

Filip was born on 9 December 2003 in Sombor after a properly maintained and controlled pregnancy. He was discharged from the hospital and everything was fine until his first birthday.

The mother noticed that Filip was behaving awkwardly. Specialist examinations and diagnostics followed, when neurologists determined that Filip had severe mental retardation and autism.

He was prescribed therapy. He was hospitalized several times at the Institute for Psychophysical  Disorders and Speech Pathology in Belgrade.

Filip has no verbal communication. He is not independent in the use of the toilet or in his feeding. His vital functions have been preserved. He has eye contact, obeys simple orders. He continuously produces unarticulated sounds. He is occasionally prone to self-aggression.

Filip is an 18-year-old boy whose only hope is to improve his health with stem cell treatment. The family is not able to cover the costs, so they are asking all humane people to help them with donations.

He needs funds for treatment, stem cell transplantation as well as for travelling costs.
