raises funds for Denis Milovanović (1998).

Denis was born on 4 October 1998. He lived the usual life of a young man until the fateful 28 June 2021 when he had a serious car accident. He was urgently transferred to the Center Kragujevac, where he was given first aid.

Denis suffered severe, life-threatening injuries. He suffered multiple head and chest injuries. He got spastic quadriparesis, mostly on the legs, there were contractures on the joints, both hands and both feet. He had a tracheostomy implanted. He spontaneously opens his eyes, without verbal contact. He does not understand or  follow orders.

Denis was diagnosed with Dg. S062 Laesio traumatica cerebri diffusa (widespread brain injury). After being discharged from the Kragujevac Clinical Center, he was sent for rehabilitation to the Special Hospital for Neurological Diseases and Post-Traumatic Conditions "Dr Borivoje Gnjatić '' in Stari Slankamen.

After the admission, Denis was provided with adequate therapy and all measures of general and special care, but considering that it was a severe neurological injury, there was no improvement.

Accompanied by his parents, Denis was transferred to the Clinical Center Dubrava in Zagreb in January 2022 to the Department of Neurosurgery for detailed diagnostics and clinical examinations.

The medical team noted that Denis is in a coma vigila (Permanent vegetative state) and conducted tests of evoked potentials to assess the indication of DBS implantation - deep brain stimulation (neurosurgical intervention in the brain that implants electrodes in certain parts of the brain, generates electrical impulses that control brain activity, by inserting a stimulator into the brain tissue with the help of which the patient could wake up from a coma).

He needs funds for surgery abroad, rehabilitation in a spa, specialist examinations, laboratory analyzes, medicines, supplements and medical supplies, as well as for travelling and accommodation costs.

In order to wake up from coma  Denis  needs  help from our donations. This way, his family is asking all humane people to help them.
