raises funds for Dejana Stojanovića (2016)

Dejan was born on 3 June 2016 after the second, properly maintained and controlled pregnancy. He lives in Surdulica.

Everything was fine until the boy's first birtday, when his parents noticed that after waking up he had strong and short  twitches of his head and body. He was then diagnosed with epilepsy (G40.9 Epilepsia non specificata) as well as (R62.0 Retardatio).

He initially had seizures once or twice a month, but after he had a severe respiratory infection in January 2022, despite regular antiepileptic therapy, seizures became more frequent and occurred several times during the day.

Dejan will soon be 6 years old, he does not speak, does not understand verbal orders and still wears diapers. He has been walking incorrectly since he injured his leg.

Dejan is currently being treated at the Institute for Mother and Child Health Care "Dr Vukan Cupic" and in the department for the treatment and examination of neurological and muscular diseases in Belgrade.

So far, his parents have financed the treatment  and exhausted all resources, so this way they are asking all generous people to help them so that Dejan can continue with the treatment.

He needs funds for genetic testing, for surgery abroad, specialist examinations, diapers, special education and speech therapy treatments, orthopedic footwear, as well as for travelling and accommodation cost.
