raises funds for Anastasia Mitić (2017)

Anastasia was born after a properly maintained and controlled twin pregnancy.

She was born by emergency caesarean section in the 30th week of pregnancy with only 1250 grams. She survived a difficult birth and a spontaneous miscarriage of the first twin.

Unfortunately, there were consequences for her health. Due to the lack of oxygen and a brain haemorrhage, Anastasia was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Her struggle started  from the fourth month of her life.

Anastasia spent years of struggle, put in a lot of effort and work and had various treatment methods in the country and abroad, daily physical therapy, hippotherapy, swimming, fibrotomy surgery, neurorehabilitation with robotics.

She is about to undergo an SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) operation in a clinic abroad, as well as intensive therapy after the operation.

Despite all the interventions and therapies, Anastasia is a very persistent and smart girl, she likes to spend time with her peers.

Her family is asking all humane people to help Anastasia  stand on her feet and make her dream come true: to run with her friends.

Funds are needed for surgery, robotics, hippotherapy, specialist examinations, orthopaedic aids, physical therapy, exercise equipment, rehabilitation as well as for travelling costs during the treatment.
