In August 2022, without any previous symptoms, Jelena was diagnosed with a brain tumor after her first epileptic seizure. After a very quick and successful operation, the pathohistological findings showed the most difficult possible diagnosis - glioblastoma multiforme grade 4 - the most aggressive and progressive type of brain cancer.

Jelena underwent a standard treatment protocol at the Institute of Oncology in Sremska Kamenica, where she got radiation therapy, along with chemotherapy, which she is still getting. This protocol is the same all over the world, but after that the options for treatment in our country are exhausted, so it is necessary to continue the treatment abroad, where Jelena would receive a personalized vaccine made by a renowned molecular laboratory at a clinic abroad.

In order to succeed in her intention to fully recover, this cheerful woman, mother of two children whose every moment of their growing up she wants to be a witness and an active participant, needs the help of all generous people.

Funds are needed for treatment abroad, therapies, specialist examinations and analyses, travelling and accommodation costs during treatment.
