Vojka started treatment in June 2021 because, after a cervical biopsy, she found out that she was suffering from a malignant tumor of the cervix - C53.9 (Neoplasma malignum cervicis uteri, non specificatum), after which she had  6 brachytherapies in the Hospital in Kragujevac.

At the beginning of 2022, because of pain in the shoulder, scintigraphy was performed, which showed multiple metastases in the bones, and additional specialist examinations in June 2022 revealed that the disease had spread to the liver and bone marrow. Vojka continued her treatment abroad. After applying 3 cycles of chemoimmunotherapy, she felt better, and tumor markers showed significant regression.

According to the plan of the hospital where she decided to continue treatment, Pembrolizumab therapy is planned for two years, and she should have immunotherapy for 21 days, followed by vaccination. After every 3 treatments, it is necessary to have a control examination at a clinic abroad.

Vojka has had 9 immunotherapies so far, and she needs to take another 26 immunotherapies in a private hospital in Belgrade, while oncology examinations, specialist examinations and laboratory tests will be performed in a hospital abroad.

She needs funds to continue the treatment abroad, immunotherapy, specialist examinations and laboratory analyses, travelling and accommodation costs.
