raises funds for Mina Pošarac (2001)

Mina lived her life normally  until February 2022. Then she felt pain in her spine, could not stand up and lost control of her body.

Due to complaints in the form of new-onset paraparesis and loss of sensitivity to all modalities from the Th4 level, she was hospitalized at the University Neurology Clinic Center.  Then she had an MRI examination of the spinal column, on which an intramedullary expansive lesion was described at the level of C7 to the upper plate of Zh3, whose characteristics first corresponded to a primary change of the type of ependymoma or astrocytoma.

Mina was operated on, on March 10, 2022 in University Clinic Center when extirpation of the expansive intramedullary lesion at C7-Th2 level was performed.

The obtained pathohistological findings detected Glioblastoma IDH-wild type, CNS WHO, grade IV.

After the operative treatment, the committee was of the opinion that it is necessary to carry out postoperative radiation therapy with concomitant chemotherapy with temozolomide, then six more cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy with temozolomide. The planned radiation therapy was fully implemented. At the Institute of Oncology of Vojvodina, she also had chemotherapy with temozolomide.

The continuation of the treatment is planned abroad, where it is necessary to start with diagnostics, followed by an operation to remove the tumor and therapy.

She needs funds for treatment abroad, travelling and accommodation costs during the treatment, laboratory analyses, specialist examinations, spa rehabilitation and physical therapy.
