In October 2021, Vladimir had a serious traffic accident, after which he was transferred to the Spinal Orthopedics Department of CC Kragujevac for further treatment, where he was admitted due to a lumbar spine injury and initial paraplegia (Dg. G822 Paraplegia flaccida). The operation was performed under general anesthesia, when the transpedicular stabilization of the Th11-L3 vertebra was performed. He was treated with antibiotic therapy. The postoperative course was complicated by the development of a large decubitus in the sacral area, anemia and glucoregulation disorder. After discharge, physical therapy at home was indicated. In 2022, he was treated at the "Dr. Miroslav Zotović'' rehabilitation clinic due to both leg paralysis and the absence of sphincter control. He had previously been at the Eye Clinic when he was injected with the medicine Eylae in the posterior chamber of the eye due to visual impairment. In February 2022, he was admitted to the Department of Spinal Surgery in KC Kragujevac for decompression due to narrowing of the spinal canal. He was operated on in the same month when the decompression and removal of part of the L1 vertebra was performed. In the postoperative course, a large decubitus wound in the sacral area was treated with plastic surgery. He was treated and monitored by an internist for diabetes and anginal complaints caused by secondary anemia. He received transfusions on several occasions. Rehabilitation was also indicated. After consulting a nephrologist, insulin therapy with human insulin was  introduced too. Intensive rehabilitation continued in 2023 in Niš at a private polyclinic where robotic neurorehabilitation was applied.

In order to be able to walk again and return to his previous living, Vladimir  needs funds for further rehabilitation with neurorobotics and physical therapy that would help him recover. He also needs funds for accommodation costs during the treatment.
