raises funds for Kalina Vasiljević (2019)

Kalina is the third child born in term after the third properly maintained pregnancy. The first signs of Kalina's disharmonious development (Dg.F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixtime-mixed specific developmental disorder) were noticed by her parents after her first year because she could not stand on her own. At 14 months, she was included in physical therapy, took her first steps at 17 months, and walked independently at 18 months. Her motor skills did not develop at the expected pace, so at the age of less than 4 years, she was quite weak, climbing up and down stairs was difficult and she needed support. From the age of two, tests were also started due to a delay in speech development because she called her parents by combining syllables.

After numerous specialized examinations, it was discovered that she has a delay in development as well as epileptiform changes in the region responsible for speech, as well as immaturity of the entire nervous system.

Kalina is a cognitively healthy girl, cheerful, friendly and socialized. She compensates her lack of speech mostly with a demonstrative gesture, and sometimes with a word. Although she has been involved in regular speech therapy treatment for almost two years, her progress is very slow. Her  family is no longer able to independently finance her treatment, which is why they need help.

Funds are needed for treatment with immunotherapy for the improvement of disharmonic development available in Japan, for speech therapy and defectology treatments, specialist examinations, laboratory tests, medicines and supplements, hydrotherapy, neurofeedback and biofeedback therapy, as well as for  travel and accommodation expenses during the treatment abroad.
