Pavle was born after the first normal twin pregnancy, which ended in 34th week with a normal delivery. Immediately after birth, he was referred to the Institute of Neonatology, and he was on mechanical ventilation for one day, then on supplemental oxygen for 5 days. Eventually he was diagnosed with: spastic diplegic cerebral palsy (G80.1 Paralysis cerebralis spastica diaplegica), idiopathic focal epilepsy and epileptic syndromes with focal seizures (G40.0 Epilepsia idiopathica (focalis) (partialis) et syndromata epileptica cum impetu focali) and mixed specific disorders development (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti). From an early age, he has been on stimulating treatment, and since the 20th month he has been regularly monitored at the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology. In November 2021, he had his first afebrile crisis of consciousness as part of the Covid 19 infection when he was hospitalised, after which the seizure did not recur.

Pavle attends elementary school according to the IOP2 program with a personal assistant, he uses tall appliances, shoe inserts and a walker as aids. In open space, he uses a neurological wheelchair and rides a tricycle. He is communicative and cooperative, speaks in sentences, his speech is dysarthric. He can independently maintain a standing position without support and manages to walk sideways with objects. Cooperation with him is established but is variable, he understands orders but does not always carry them out. Attention is short-lived, interest in the offered work material depends on his current mood. He needs help in his work, he is not independent. He is included in the sensory integration program. His cognitive efficiency is reduced. He has had two strabismus surgeries and wears glasses to correct his vision.

In order to progress, Pavle needs continuous rehabilitation treatments and physical therapy, strabismus surgery, fibrotomy surgery, work with a speech therapist, specialist examinations, orthopaedic aids and accommodation during the treatment.
