Pavle is the second child born in 37th week after the high-risk pregnancy maintained at the hospital due to HTA, diabetes and the mother's thyroid problems. At birth, the left side of his body was so limp that he moved less, which is why he went to physical therapy. The symptoms of the disease manifested  in May 2021, when Pavle started having recurring crises of consciousness, as well as changes in behaviour. MR showed chronic cortico-subcortical malatic lesions, accompanied by leukoencephalopathy. At the Clinic for Neurology and Psychiatry for Children and Youth and he was diagnosed with: unilateral paralysis (G81.9 Hemiplegia, non specificata), Symptomatic focal epilepsy and epilepsy syndromes with complex partial seizures (G40.2 Epilepsia idiopathica (focalis) (partialis) et syndromata epileptica cum impetu complexo partiali), Hyperkinetic behaviour disorder (F90.1 Disordo morum hyperkineticus), Disorders of opposition and defiance (F91.3 Disordo oppositus et provocatus), Moderate mental retardation (F71 Retardatio mentalis moderata).

In February 2023, a psychological assessment was performed, when a cognitive decline with an IQ of 40 was determined. In March 2023, he was also diagnosed with the rare Moya Moya syndrome (I67.5 Morbus Moyamoya). At the same month, cerebral DSA was performed under OETA conditions, the post-procedural course of which was complicated by prolonged wakefulness. On the first operative day, he was extubated, after which he was awake and communicative.

He was surgically treated at a clinic abroad in July 2023, and on that occasion dural arterio-arterial anastomoses were performed on both sides and substitution was started, after which anxiety and an episode of hallucinations appeared.

The operation was financed by the Ministry of Health of Serbia, a special fund for rare diseases, but his parents, with the help of family and friends, financed all other expenses. Pavle's condition is currently stabilised. Check-ups will show whether the operation was successful in 6 to 12 months .

Funds are needed for constant physical treatments, speech therapy and defectology treatments, medicines, supplements, medical aids, laboratory analyses, specialist examinations, motor exercises and therapeutic swimming.

Therapies are very expensive, so his parents are not able to finance them..
