Loris was born after  the second controlled pregnancy, by caesarean section in 38th  gestation week.

After birth, he was placed in an incubator with oxygen therapy and dual antibiotic therapy. On the second day, he vomited, and generalised cyanosis developed. On the third day, he was transferred from the hospital in Brčko to UCC Tuzla due to suspicion of the development of perinatal infection and neurological deficit. He spent a month at this clinic.

At the age of two and a half months, Loris was diagnosed with other marked syndromes of congenital malformations of multiple systems (Q87 Syndromata malformationum systematum multiplicium congenitarum alia, specificata) by genetic analysis WES (search of the entire clinical exome). A pathogenic variant was found in the KAT6B gene and it is clinically associated with Ohdo syndrome - a rare genetic disease characterised by genital abnormalities in men, missing or underdeveloped kneecaps, intellectual disability, characteristic facial features and abnormalities that affect other parts of the body.

Loris maintains brief eye contact, understands a few words, does not understand questions but is interested in socialising with children and adults. In relation to age, the development of speech takes place more slowly. He was diagnosed with specific disorders of speech and language development (F80 Disordines evolutionis orationis et linguae, specific).

Loris is involved in intensive physical, speech therapy and defectology treatment. Continuous rehabilitation and treatments are necessary, which are all very expensive, so his family is asking for help from all generous people so that Loris can stand on his feet and start walking as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for specialist examinations, speech therapy and defectology treatments, physical therapy, spa treatment, treatment abroad, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
