raises funds for Vladana Novković (2009).

Vladana was operated on in 2015 in order to prevent complications on the retina, when scleroplasty was performed on both eyes due to high myopia - degenerative myopia (H44.1 Endophthalmitis aliae).

In the special hospital for cerebral palsy and developmental neurology, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (G801 Paralysis cerebralis spastica diaplegica). Vladana had two operations for the complete reconstruction of the feet, tendons and muscles, after which she started walking independently. The walking pattern is moderate with inadequate flexion in the hip and knee of the right leg.

In June 2022, Vladana noticed a sudden loss of vision in the left eye, after which urgent operative treatment was indicated, and artificial lens were implanted in the left eye, but due to the retinal detachment again in the middle of July of the same year, she had another operation for the re-ablation and refill of the silicone oil. She cannot see in her left eye, while in her right she can see only 5%  with an ophthalmological aid - a gas permeable lens.

Her family found a chance to preserve Vladana's sight at a clinic abroad, where in October 2023, an operative injection of material for tissue regeneration was performed, which resulted in improvement in the right eye, while a minimal improvement was also observed in the left.

The next operation is planned for April 2024 and requires significant funds, which her family is not able to finance independently, so it appeals to all humane people to help with their donations so that Vladana can save her sight and put a smile back on her face.

Funds are needed for operative therapies, specialist examinations, rehabilitation treatments, ophthalmological aids, supplements, laboratory analyses, and for travelling costs.
