In August 2023, Miodrag was hospitalized at the UCCS Pulmonology Clinic after a crisis of consciousness, in order to diagnose changes in the lungs. However he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the bronchi and lungs, unlabeled (C34.9 Neoplasma malignum bronchi et pulmonum, non specificatum).

In the same month, a bronchological examination was performed, which showed that the obtained samples correspond to well-differentiated Adenocarcinoma, while an MR examination of the endocranium confirmed the existence of the mentioned change. At the end of the month, a gamma knife radio neurosurgical intervention was performed.

In November 2023, Miodrag was hospitalized at UCCS pulmonology for oncological treatment due to loss of consciousness with two bilateral motor seizures.

After three cycles of chemotherapy that did not give the expected results, the tumor panels were sent for analysis to a clinic abroad, after which it was advised to use the medicine Amivantamab, which has a targeted effect on cancer, and Miodrag would be the first candidate for the use of the mentioned medicine in Serbia.

Considering that the therapy with this medicine is quite expensive that his family is unable to cover financially, all generous people are asked to help with their donations so that Miodrag can receive the therapy as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for biological therapies, immunological therapies, medicines, specialist examinations and hospital treatment.
