In August 2023, Marija had impaired consciousness and headaches, and was admitted to the  neurosurgery department of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, where she was diagnosed with malignant tumor that spread out of the brain (C71.8 Neoplasma malignum cerebri, limites transiens).

After the ablation of the brain tumor, she had radiation and chemotherapy (PH Glioblastoma IDH wild type, WHO grade 4), after which her health worsened so she had the second operation in April 2024.

Marija, who is also a doctor, found hope for a cure at a clinic abroad where genetic analyzes will be performed, after which immunological therapies will be determined and tumor vaccines will be developed.

Since the costs of treatment are very high, Marija needs the help from all humane people and their donations.

She needs funds for genetic analyses, personalized therapies, for the production of tumor vaccines, specialist and control examinations, laboratory analyses, translation of medical documents, medicines, supplements, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
