Description

Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić

raises funds for Života Lazić (1967).

The first hospitalization took place in March 2024 at the Institute of Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina for the diagnosis of changes in the right lung. He was  diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the upper lobe, bronchi or lungs (C34.1 Neoplasma malignum bronchi sive pulmonis, lobi superioris).

At the end of the same month, Života was hospitalized once again due to fever, headache and dizziness.

In July 2024, hospital treatment  started in General hospital Šabac due to recurrent hemoptysis. In the meantime, drainage of the right pleural space was performed due to pneumothorax and a Heimlisch valve was placed. The drain was removed at the end of the same month.

Chemotherapy was indicated in the neoadjuvant setting according to the Gemcitabine/Cisplatin protocol in 4 cycles.

Života has to continue treatment at a private clinic as soon as possible, where it is necessary to perform surgical treatment to remove a lung - pneumonectomy.

Given that this type of treatment requires high costs, the help of all generous people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for operative treatment, specialist examinations and laboratory analyses.
