Stefan visited doctor due to frequent tiredness and pain in the Achilles tendon. He found a thrombus in the leg that was soon broken by adequate therapy. Because of the enlarged spleen, doctors performed various tests, the results were getting worse, until the bone marrow biopsy was done.

The diagnosis was: acute leukemia.

This brave young man has a rare type of leukemia that happens one in a million cases. The extent to which this type of leukemia is rare is indicated by the fact that there is no adequate bone marrow donor in the world registry. So far, he had one transplant, and the donor was his mother.

At that time they were the happiest people on earth, but after several months and during routine examination, Stefan had increased leukocytes.

His body rejected the bone marrow.

Stefan is currently having two battles. The first is that his body has been weakened by six cycles of chemotherapy and can no longer endure, and the other is to find at least one person in the world with adequate bone marrow.
