After she had suddenly lost the ability to move her legs, urinate or defecate in her sixth month  Saša  was diagnosed with a malignant tumor -  Neuroblastoma, located on the spine and caused paraplegia.

Saša received six cycles of chemotherapy at the University Children’s Hospital Tiršov hemato-oncology department and is now on the monitoring program because the tumor has decreased but it can not be operated due to its location.

The second phase of treatment is rehabilitation. The legs slowly recover, although it is said that there is not much prospect for improvement, this brave girl has achieved great results in a short time - she crawls on her own, and she can stand up with support.

Saša is a great fighter, a cheerful and curious child, like all her peers, eager to explore the world with her own feet. Her family firmly believes that Saša can walk and therefore they need help for rehabilitation in foreign centers.
