raises funds for Ilija Mitrović (2010).

Ilija was born in the 27th week of pregnancy. Since then, he has been fighting for his life. He was immediately transferred to the Institute for Neonatology in Belgrade, where he spent three months. During that time, Ilija had a third degree bleeding in the brain with the expansion of brain ventricles and cystic changes which left the consequences.

Ilija was diagnosed with cerebral quadriplegic palsy. As soon as  he was released  from the neonatology,  therapies and rehabilitation programme started immediately. He stayed for three months, twice a year at the Special Hospital for Paralysis and Developmental Neurology in Belgrade and spa treatment was also included.

Ilija cannot walk, sit or speak. He is completely dependent on someone else's help, but  he is mentally preserved. Despite everything, he is always smiling, cheerful and eager to play. His younger sister and brother are big support for him.

To make a better future for this smiling boy and to allow him to play with his brother, sisters and his peers without obstacles, he should be provided with  an operation performed by Russian doctors in Cuprija and rehabilitation after it. The method is called phased (step-by-step) fibrotomia (PFT) according to Ulzibat.  Parents have exhausted all financial resources and they ask for help so that Ilija  can have a chance to continue treatment.
