raises funds for Sonja Kovačević (2004).

Sonja has an atrophy of cerebellum that causes various developmental and behavioral disorders,  especially those that affect walking and speech.

From early childhood she went to rehabilitation treatment at the Institute for Mother and Child Dr Vukan Čupić. She was several times on spa treatment, hippo and oxygen therapy. Sonja daily goes to physical therapy to the Institute for the rehabilitation Selters Spa, because the water there has a positive effect on her.

The engagement, knowledge, experience and love of Sonja's doctors and therapists, as well as her enormous effort and work, prevented the progression of the disease and allowed a slight improvement in her health.

Sonja is not independent in any segment of her life, although she takes medicine that relieves unwanted movements and tremors on a daily basis, wears lower limb orthoses, corrective spinal orthoses and has a botox therapy that allows her to stand and walk with someone’s help for a short time.

In order to keep Sonja on her feet for a longer time and with the help of therapy, she needs treatment in the Rehabilitation Center Renona in Slovakia.
