The disease was detected at a regular check up in January, 2018  and the same month she was diagnosed with breast cancer. From February to August 2018, Ivana had sixteen chemotherapy treatments  followed by surgery for removal of both breasts with reconstruction. From December 2018 to February 2019 she also had twenty-four radiation breast therapies.

She had ovarian and uterine surgery the following month. Because of difficulties with movementIn in May 2019, bone cancer was detected. During the same month, she had four radiation therapies for the left hip,  four radiation therapies for the fifth and sixth vertebrae and then four radiation therapy for the right hip. From April to September, Ivana was disabled. Radiation therapies helped her walk, but in a limited manner.

Now she is fighting for life, she wants to be with her family as much as she can, she finds her strength in love she wants to give to her children and to be longer with them. The money is raised for therapies, medications and supplements.
