For Jovana!

Description

Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić

raises funds for Jovana Stoiljković (1985).

Jovana suffers from Hodgkin lymphoma with nodular sclerosis.

Before she was diagnosed, Jovana had a normal life, she had been employed, committed to her daily activities and she had many plans for the future.

The first symptoms of the disease appeared back in 2013. After numerous medical examinations, she was diagnosed in August 2015 and prescribed with sixteen chemotherapy treatments. In May 2016, a PET scanner indicated that the therapies had been successful and that the disease had receded. At regular semi-annual controls over the next three years, the findings were negative and nothing indicated that the disease had returned.

In October 2019, on an emergency check up, a biopsy determined that the disease had unfortunately returned.

It is necessary to respond quickly because the only chance for Jovan's recovery is  immunotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation. This type of therapy, with a high percentage of success, can only be implemented in Germany. A significant amount of money must be collected for treatment and her stay abroad. For that reason, her family and friends have launched a fundraising campaign to give Jovana a chance to heal and return to a normal life.

For Jovana's life! Let's be humane!
