raises funds for Svetlana Mirković (1972).

Svetlana was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, after which her left breast and eleven lymph nodes were removed. She had eight chemotherapy treatments and  twenty-six radiation treatments. She continued to take Nolvadex, but after a few months complications occurred and she was prescribed a new medicine, Arimidex.  PET scan in January 2018 showed a few small changes in the lungs that were characterized as metastases.

Since then, regular lung monitoring via CT has begun. She had check-ups every three to four months. Everything seemed to be OK and there were no changes.

At the last check-up in January 2020, the lung CT was  unchanged, but the abdominal MR showed changes in the liver, surrounding bone structures and enlarged lymph nodes.

She was prescribed Falsodex injection therapy as well as a medication that was not on the National Health Insurance Fund's positive list so the monthly cost that exceeded her family income. The family, with the help of fellow citizens and friends, raised funds for a couple of doses of the medicine. Afraid and concerned about Svetlana's health and life, her family decided to continue her treatment abroad.

New diagnostics, analyzes, medications, treatment, travelling and accommodation costs require a significant amount of money to be raised so the family asks all the good and humane people to help give Svetlana a chance to heal and support her child during schooling and growing up.
