Anđela was born as a healthy baby, with a grade of ten at birth. Psychomotor development by the thirteenth month was regular, everything seemed to be fine, Anđela  was a healthy child, until the constant falls and waddling began. She was then sent to Belgrade, to the neurology department, where she had numerous medical examinations. After two weeks, Angela was diagnosed with spinal muscle atrophy, type two.

From that moment on, Anđela spent most of her childhood in various hospitals. It is a progressive disease that stops basic life functions such as walking, swallowing, digesting food and breathing. Anđela never walked on her own, she soon started using a wheelchair, she has strong contractures in her knees and a deformity of the chest and scoliosis of the spine.

She was sent to the Institute for Mother and Child last year, and at the doctor's suggestion, she stayed to have examinations during the sleep - to have a sleep study and spirometry. It turned out that Angela has a restrictive ventilation disorder.

Anđela needs funds  for the purchase of a cough assist machine, in order to prevent suffocation.
