It was just an ordinary day on 17 January 2018. Nataša had no idea what was around the corner. She was only  eighteen years old. She rode her bike, as she did every day. At one point she saw a vehicle crossing to her side. She was blinded by the long lights that flashed straight in her eyes, she put her left hand over her eyes and she could not remember the moment when the blow occurred.

She suffered multiple injuries to her left arm and hand, an open fracture of the upper arm, and a fracture of the left femur. She lost her left leg above the knee on the spot, which the doctors, unfortunately, were unable to save because they were saving her life, which was endangered due to a strong blow that caused a broken spleen and an internal bleeding. After two weeks of hospital treatment, two more surgeries followed - femoral and hand surgery. She came home less than a month later. She was in the bed for four months, after which she received a social prosthesis with which she made her first steps.

But Nataša's current prosthesis prevents her from living a normal life, limiting her in walking and doing daily activities. She needs a German-made prosthesis with a microprocessor knee, which would make her everyday life easier.
