raises funds for Uroš Stoja (2009).

 

Uroš was born in 2009. He developed normally, he started sitting, crawling, walking and speaking in time. When he was  21 months old, he lost his acquired words, reacted weaker and slower to sounds, became introverted and in a bad mood. After almost half a year of wandering, the doctor informed his parents that Uroš had chronic otitis media, which had affected both ears. After 4 months of treatment, the inflammation returned in an acute form. He underwent surgery on his third tonsil.

 

Around his third birthday, Uroš went for a hearing test (Bera test) at the Institute for Mother and Child. The diagnoses are H90.0 (conductive hearing loss, temporary hearing loss) and F80.1 and F80.2 (developmental dysphasia, language disorder, or disorder of the ability to understand and express language thought).

 

In 2014, Uroš went for treatment to the hyperbaric chamber in Banjica. In September 2015, he was in Russia for stem cell treatment. He is currently attending 4th grade. He follows all subjects and is very successful in most subjects. Speech is still at a standstill, but he is progressing when it comes to understanding content.

 

The stem cell treatment that Uroš was on had a positive effect on his psychological condition, and the doctor recommended that it should be repeated, in order to make further progress. Uroš's parents have exhausted all the funds so they ask all the generous and humane people to help. The treatment would be done at the polyclinic in Novi Sad. Uroš also needs funds for speech therapy treatments.
