Natalija was born on 25 June 2014 in Niš. The birth went well. On the third day after birth, she had neonatal convulsions, then hypertension and skin changes. At the Clinic for Dermatovenerology, she was diagnosed with Dg. Q82.3 Incontinentia pigmenti (a rare disease that occurs in the neonatal period and is characterized by inflammatory and hyperpigmented skin changes, with abnormalities in the central nervous system, eyes, teeth and skeleton).

When she was 20 months old, she was hospitalized at the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology, where she was continuously treated for several months. Natalija got two more diagnoses, cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

The prognosis was very bad, but Natalija's persistence and desire to walk won. She made her first step at the age of five, but her walking is unstable and unsafe and she must have someone else's support. Despite all the adversities she deals with every day, she is a cheerful and friendly girl. She goes to preschool and has the support of educators and friends who mean a lot to her because they help her overcome every obstacle.

As Natalija grows, therapies and treatments must be more frequent in order to progress, but for that she needs the help of all of us, because all these years, the parents have financed all the costs of treatment and exhausted all resources. Natalija needs funds for physical and speech therapy treatments, neurorobotics, rehabilitation, and for travelling and accommodation costs.
