raises funds for Vukan Vidojević (2020).

Vukan was born on 8 June 2020 in Belgrade. After a properly monitored high-risk pregnancy. He was rated 9 at birth, but due to facial malformations, Down syndrome was suspected, so genetic analysis was performed immediately after birth. In his second month, he was diagnosed with a genetic disorder: Anomalia chromosomatica non specificata Q99.9 (unbalanced chromosomal rearrangement - distal trisomy 10q syndrome).

This is the first case in Serbia, the chance is 1  out of 6,000,000. It is an extremely rare, but very well researched genetic disorder. Only 40 cases have been reported worldwide, but unfortunately with a high mortality rate.

Children with this syndrome start walking late or do not walk at all, speak, or never speak. They are accompanied by many other health problems, such as problems with swallowing (short neck), digestion, breathing, hearing and vision problems, respiratory infections, epileptic seizures, mild to severe intellectual disability, heart, kidney and skeletal abnormalities (11 instead of 12 pairs of ribs), underdevelopment of the tibia bone. Children with this syndrome are short.

Vukan has been treated in Belgrade since birth. He regularly goes to physical treatments and visits the Clinic for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology. His progress is slow. He still does not turn due to reduced muscle tone. He can't keep his weight on his hands, so he doesn't sit or crawl. Vukan is a friendly and cheerful boy. He likes the most when people talk and sing to him. He reacts to animals with laughter and screams.

 For further progress, he needs specialist examinations, diagnostics, controls, physical, special education and speech therapy treatments, hydrotherapy, hippotherapy, music therapy, acupuncture, tactile and sensory stimulation, spa treatment, laboratory analyzes. He also needs funds for hyperbaric chamber treatments, orthopedic aids, medical supplies, medicines and supplements, stem cell treatments in Turkey, travelling and accommodation costs.

The treatments and care require a lot of resources and parents are not able to finance the costs of treatment, so they ask all  humane people to help as much as they are able to make their little champion progress in treatment.

Vukan's parents call their toddler a "storm boy". They had been struggling for two years to get him, and they got, as they say, the most desirable child ever.
